Meet the Amazons

In the heart of Romania, American-style Professional Sideline Cheer has found its first standard-bearer. A talented and ambitious group of executives and performers is creating a new reality for the sport and the nation.

❋ A New Frontier

The Bucharest Amazons are the only professional-grade sideline cheer program supporting American Football in the Balkans. This project creates one of the most unique and daring sports-entertainment properties in the region.

❋ Cheer Leads the Way

Pro sideline cheer in the U.S. typically operates as a subsidiary marketing arm of the football team. The Bucharest Amazons flip that paradigm by having the Amazons serve as the cultural lead and primary revenue center.

❋ The Forge of Stars

Every annual roster of the Bucharest Amazons is populated by some of the best and most promising dancers in the nation. Candidates/trainees undergo a rigorous selection process that prepares them to be ideal ambassadors for the club and sport.

❋ A Path Beyond Pro

Our training project doesn’t stop at dance. All candidates undergo marketing, media, and career development training. Essential to the culture of the Amazons is the creation of leaders in dance, entertainment, enterprise, and beyond.

The Bucharest Amazons are an entirely new approach to professional sideline cheerleading that places cheer as the centerpiece of the sports organization and creates a commercial vehicle that supports other aspects of the enterprise while providing quality employment and career opportunities to talented entertainers.
